One of the cities many Park and Rides (one can park one's car and take a bus into Cambridge) is a few minutes walk and there are also bus services into the city. If one were to walk it would take half an hour and a cycle ride is around ten minutes. The nearby village of Coton (one mile away) has a good pub called The Plough. In the village of Madingley (about two miles away) there is another fine pub called The Three Horseshoes.
